The 'Big Tree'. A giant specimen of the Baobab tree which is found in many parts of Zambia. This is one of the local 'sights' for visitors and its size can be judged by the size of the people at its base. It was close to here where the elephants killed a young boy leading to the culling of the whole herd of seven elephants in 1949. |
