I had notification at the end of last week that Wendy died on Thursday as a result of a very bad asthma attack. Wendy was originally from the Copperbelt and was married to Daryll Higgins and moved down to Lusaka sometime in the early 70's. The last time I saw Wendy was at our joint farewell party in April 1978 after which they went to South Africa and we came to the UK. Wendy returned to Zambia and the last I heard was living at Kariba. I have included a photo of my wife (left) and Wendy (right) taken around 1975 or 76
