Sadly my youngest brother Colin passed away 05 October, 2010, in Malawi. He died after a short but serious illness. He had a disease called Hydatid caused by tapeworm. He was also diagnosed with liver cancer when he had liver surgery due to the Hydatid disease. Colin was 54 years of age. He is survived by his brother Tony (Clive Anthony) de Gray BIRCH, sister Sandra Poole (nee de Gray Birch,) daughter Jayde (Houston, USA), son Mathew (Zambia) and companion Onagh van Niekerk. Colin was born in Lusaka, Zambia in1956, and lived in Ndola as a child. Later he lived in Kitwe and Lusaka as an adult. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Such a tragic loss. Colin had the most brilliant mind, and the softest heart. He was planning on coming to live with me here in Dallas, Texas, USA, by the end of 2010.
